PETE IS BACK!!!

After the severe musical drought of the pandemic years, Pete will be returning with strength in 2024! The focus will be on solo winery performances in San Luis Obispo County, California. If you are in that area, or are planning a visit to Paso Robles wine country, please send us a message. We would love to hear from you. Pete also has a solo country gig in Los Angeles on February 23rd. Click on the TOUR tab to see all the dates coming up. We will be adding more throughout the year.

Also, keep an eye out for a major announcement coming soon about Pete’s Patreon! You’ll be able to have exclusive early access to Pete’s new songs as he records them one by one. He has over 300 he can’t wait to share. Now that streaming no longer pays independent artists virtually anything, we have chosen to go DTC (direct-to-consumer) with the people who matter most - YOU!

Thank you so much for hanging with us during the recent spat of tough times. We are bullish on the year ahead. Peace & Music.

JOHNNIE GILMORE

www.johnniegilmore.com

Johnnie Gilmore is a brilliant young bass player and songwriter pushing the boundaries of the instrument's capabilities, both as a soloist and accompanist. His compositions and arrangements aspire to tell interesting stories, with a focus on melody, following in the footsteps of instrumentalists Victor Wooten, Jaco Pastorius, Tommy Emmanuel, Chet Atkins, and Jon Gomm. Even his most technically demanding songs can still be sung in the shower! His eclectic influences include James Jamerson, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Billy Joel, Phish, Steely Dan, and James Taylor. Initiated on classical piano in elementary school, Johnnie picked up the electric bass at age 15 and was mastering it soon thereafter. Since then, Johnnie has studied with masters Jesse Williams, Bob Sinicrope, Noah Baerman, and Nilson Matta, and performs a wide array of genres including rock, jazz, funk, soul, songwriting, and even traditional Balkan music. Johnnie was the Musical Director for "Bat Boy: The Musical", has toured internationally - including performances in South Africa and at Hong Kong's Freespace Happening Festival - and was awarded the Gwen Livingston Pekora Prize for Excellence In Music Composition.
